New CD from the Lucca singer

The young singer-songwriter Stefano Nottoli Lucchese, after “Ritagli di Tempo”, is releasing his second album “Lo chiamavano parafango”. It’s about a simple post-war man whose dream of participating in the Giro d’Italia is changed by an encounter with a beautiful girl who leads him into love and a series of rather “special” events. It’s a set of songs where Nottoli tells of the importance of having a dream to set things moving and the lovesickness that annihilates friendship, death and memory. For its production, Nottoli employed crowdfunding, using this as a promotional tool to create an interest around the new disc at no cost. After the presentation of the new CD Nottoli will begin a promotional tour to publicize the album trying to follow in the footsteps of … parafango.

Meanwhile, those interested in listening to it live can book Tuesday evening, January 16 at the “Lupo e il Poeta,” restaurant at Nave. (Free you do not have to stay for dinner) by calling +39058359075.

For Flam, it’s the third “Cattani-Giurlani” commemoration and on this occasion the bronze violin-scroll (by sculptor Franco Pegonzi) will be presented in memory of Maestro Marino Pratali.
Performers in the concert will be the “Santa Cecilia” children’s voices conducted by Sara Matteucci and the “Santa Cecilia” choir, Lucca’s cathedral choir for over fifty years, conducted by Luca Bacci. The program includes Christmas carols and the polyphonic repertoire. Free admission.

Concluding around 7 pm, the twenty-first “Cesarin ‘der Viviani prize” will be awarded for the year’s best “Befanata”.
